Please join us on Friday evening at 4:30 pm for a special bonus presentation by this year's Keynote Speaker Kim Ng from Major League Baseball. Kim Ng is currently the Senior Vice - President for Baseball Operation with the MLB and the highest ranking female baseball executive. We're excited to welcome her to Sioux Falls.

This event is open to you and your team. In fact, many practices are using this event as a retreat for their team, to learn about overcoming struggles and breaking down barriers to success.

Doors open at 4:00 PM, the program will begin at 4:30 PM.

  • Prior to joining MLB’s Central Office, Ng was Vice President and Assistant General Manager of the Los Angeles Dodgers for nine years.

  • Before joining the Dodgers, Ng held the position of Assistant General Manager of the New York Yankees from 1998-2001, during which time the club won three World Series.

  • She began her baseball career with the Chicago White Sox before becoming the Director of Waivers and Records for the American League Office.

  • Ng is the second woman ever to hold an assistant general manager position with a Major League club.

  • She is the only woman to have ever interviewed for a General Manager position in any major professional sport.

In this capacity, Ng oversees MLB’s efforts to spread the game globally. She has assisted the Strategic & International ownership committee and business development group to determine key strategic areas to grow the game, and works with the front offices of the 30 Major League Clubs and many other baseball leagues and entities around the world. Prior to joining MLB’s Central Office, Ng was Vice President and Assistant General Manager of the Los Angeles Dodgers for nine years. With the Dodgers, Ng’s primary duties included assisting in all player transactions, making trades, signing free agents, player research, and overseeing the club’s arbitration efforts and pro scouting department. In 2004, she was the Club’s interim Farm Director, overseeing all player development.
